"When I was very young, crayons and the neighbor's flower garden
were a big part of my life. I loved drawing flowers and leaves and
couldn't wait to color them in. I loved the colors, shapes and most
of all, I loved the smell of Crayola crayons. What I didn't know
then was that I was hooked, caught up in the creative process.
Through the years, I have always been absorbed in color and shapes,
whether it was in photography, fabric or painting. For the last five
years, oil painting has been my passion. Once again I'm hooked by
the colors, shapes, the smell of oil paints and the wonderful place
the creative process takes me..
I am a self-taught artist and have been studying with Nancy at the
Nancy Stephen School of Art for
the past two years."
